•Working technical knowledge of and extensive application support experience with network and PC operating systems: Microsoft Server 2003 - 2008, MS SQL 2005, Windows 7 - 10, MS Office 2010 – 2016, Office 365, Sophos AV. Cisco, Juniper
•Strong knowledge of technology trends and latest developments
•Proficient in MS Office, Internet and E-mail
•Citrix Experience
•Virtualisation Experience
•Network / Routing / Firewall experience

•Support Jac Travel’s systems to ensure routine communications capabilities in all offices (including: routing, switching, wireless, VPN)
•Senior Stakeholder communication/management
•Liaising with 3rd Party Vendors
•Ensure that all hardware, software, and database problems are solved in a timely and efficient manner according to SLA
•Ensure resiliency and redundancy across the internal and commercial platforms
•Architecture input for the internal and commercial platforms
•Citrix Design and administration – responsible for the smooth running of Citrix
•Input in Capacity planning
•Input on the Infrastructure Roadmap planning
•Input on budget planning
•Being able to work in a Matrix management environment
•Monitoring Ownership (familiar with setting up and using Monitoring Tools)
•Writing documentation – including runbooks and updating knowledge-base
•Day to day analysis of commercial platform
•BAU support for commercial platform
•SAN administration
•Virtualisation knowledge and administration
•To be trained up on iVector / travel Studio / Cognos
•Liaise with internal staff when completing projects
•Ownership of Microsoft Licensing

Maintain and administer:
oInternet connectivity, infrastructure and protocols
oActive Directory for users, user groups, departments etc (Two domains + Trust)
oMaintain Firewall – Juniper / Mikrotik / Fortinet
oAdministrate Office 365
oAnti-virus policy and control
oMaintain Company telecoms systems – Avaya + Siemens. Support 100+ call centre with auto attendant / Voicemail / Oak Recording / Time profiles / SIP
oManage in-house servers
oDrive forward policies and processes that you see are lacking within the environment. Championing your ideas and gathering sufficient backing by senior stakeholders to see through
