Raw Materials Planner - determined period 1 year

Main Responsibilities:

• Plans the raw materials in SAP APO, on several locations and based on detailed weekly production plans
• Analyzes the Alerts and decides future course of actions in order to solve them
• Maintains the optimum stocks for raw materials based on sales forecasts and production planning for each location
• Assures the raw materials transfers between locations according to the production plan
• Follows the raw material’s transfers to be in time and in the budgeted quantity to avoid out of stocks or other delays
• Places orders to suppliers and follows the delivery in terms of quantity, location and time
• Develops and provides the forecast of raw materials for short/medium/long term plan
• Communicates with suppliers and determines common working methods
• Monitors, analyzes and suggests solutions to avoid loss and costs for damaged stocks
• Provides accurate report to the business
• Quarterly provides input and reports for finance department’s analysis and projects
• Manages the cassation proposals and follows the necessary steps until the proposal is done
• Manages the performance tracking tools and proposes improvements measures
• Provides support for the business in special campaigns and promotions.
• Provides support in respective to other countries involved in common projects
• Builds strong relationships with internal and external clients
• Constantly seeks new ways to improve processes and procedures, etc.

• Universities studies, preferably in Operations or Economics
• Experience in processes and planning concepts within the acquisition of raw materials
• Managing raw materials stocks
• Experience in using SAP MRP APO for material planning
• Knowledge of SOX principles
• At least medium knowledge of Excel
• Ability to identify and bring solutions to daily situations
• Good Planning and organizing skills
• Good ability to prioritize
• Process and project management
• Good communication and influencing skills
• Basic statistics knowledge
• Basic financial and cost understanding
• Results driven & Customer focus
• Advanced knowledge of Romanian & English
