    o To have a University Degree or be a final year student (Economics, Mathematics).
    o Knowledge of working with large amounts of data (Excel, Access).
    o Knowledge and understanding of actuarial techniques (Reserving, Modelling, Reporting, etc.) is a plus.
    o Knowledge of insurance products and processes (Premiums, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Reinsurance, etc.) is a plus.
    o Business drive, team spirit and initiative.


    o Conducting basic actuarial audit tests under supervision (first time) or independently (subsequent engagements) and assisting the audit teams with actuarial valuations.
    o Understanding the basic differences between audit and advisory engagements.
    o Ensuring compliance with the KPMG code of ethics.
    o Complying with all the confidentiality policies of KPMG and applicable regulatory authorities.
    o Displaying up to date technical knowledge by attending all mandatory training, completing all required computer based training within deadlines set and applying this training to advisory work where appropriate.
