Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
Advanced knowledge of Java – min 3 years of working experience
At least two years of experience in JEE development
Experience with webservices in Java (including RESTful API)
Expert with data persistence frameworks (JPA, Hibernate etc)
Experience with industrial Relational Databases and SQL (preferably Postgresql)
Experience with industrial application servers (JBOSS etc.)
Experience with JSON (formatting part)
Familiarity with XML, XSD, Ajax, XSLT
Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hbase, Cloudera etc.) is a big advantage
Expert in understanding of progressive enhancement, graceful degradation, and cross-browser support
High attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment and receive creative direction
Ability to adapt to changing projects
Previous experience with Agile delivery process framework (not mandatory, but prefered)
Excellent command of English both spoken and written

Analysis and interpretation of business/ functional specification, carrying out response activities in terms of technical analysis, coding and documentation
Provides implementation of standard web API solutions to the given standards
Code designs into interactive prototypes and production-ready web APIs
Code to company standards and keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends
Update and maintain existing products, including content updates, interface enhancements, API documentation and performance profiling/ optimization
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Shares own expertise with others; supports and coordinates junior colleagues, performs peer coding review
Works both on evolution and maintenance environments
