Information management is at the very heart of the Interior Division, which provides a range of products that includes instrument clusters and multifunctional displays, control units, electronic car-entry systems, tire-monitoring systems, radios, multimedia and navigation systems, climate control systems, telematics solutions and cockpit modules and systems.

    The Category Purchaser Production Equipment provides support to Regional Category Manger in coordinating and monitoring the location buyers in Non-Production Material organisations in charge with the Production Equipment activities. Ensures alignment with corporate purchasing procedures for all acquisition projects in the Continental automotive locations from the region Hungary-Romania while integrating purchasing and also the right supplier panel into the project development at an early stage. Enforces the regional supply strategy and negotiates with suppliers to achieve best market conditions. Organizes regular visits to all locations in the region, meeting internal customer and location management in order to support incomming projects and purchasing involvement in the early project phase. Drives project negotiations to constantly improve the cost situation. Actively influences the sourcing process during development phase by selecting suppliers, negotiation of prices and closure of contracts.

    Negotiation Techniques. Knowledge of contract laws. Knowledge or experience working with production equipment. Knowledge of project management process. Knowledge of English - advanced.
