Project Manager (Redesign to Cost) @Forvia HELLA

YOUR TASKS

 We are looking for a Project Manager - ReDesign to Cost & Product Profitability to: 

• Lead ReDtC projects from idea generation and assessment through implementation and savings realization. 
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of ReDtC opportunities across relevant product families. 
• Improve product profitability by identifying and implementing technical and process-related cost reduction measures, including design simplification, material optimization, component standardization, supplier alternatives and manufacturing improvements
• Define project scope, timeline, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and escalation path. 
• Coordinate R&D, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Controlling, Logistics, Production and Sales / Customer Teams. 
• Monitor timing, risks, decisions and actions to secure effective execution. 

The ideal candidate:

• Combines strong project management skills with technical understanding, cost awareness and the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality and controlling;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product development, project management, industrialization, manufacturing engineering or cost optimization; 
• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technical Sciences, Project Management or a related field.
• Experience with Design-to-Cost, ReDesign-to-Cost,  cost reduction programs or serial product profitability initiatives.
