Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Someone with drive to actively pull work and deliver.
• Experience operating within large enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation and migration projects.
• Expert-level Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
• Strong Unix/Linux troubleshooting and support experience.
• On-premises infrastructure experience.
• Understanding of server lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and operational support.
• Experience working closely with Unix, Middleware, Database, Network, and Security teams.
• Strong Bash scripting capability.
• Strong Python development and automation skills.
• Experience automating operational, deployment, and infrastructure processes.
• Configuration management and infrastructure automation experience.
• Significant experience with: GitLab; Jenkins; Ansible; Git
• Designing, supporting, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
• Implementing DevOps best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Source code management and branching strategy expertise.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting production and non-production environments.
• Ability to identify root causes and drive issues through to resolution.
• Experience supporting engineering teams with build, deployment, and platform-related issues.

Responsibilities

•Infrastructure & Operational Support
•Perform expert RHEL/Linux administration and infrastructure troubleshooting in an on-premises environment.
•Manage the full server lifecycle, including system patching, upgrades, and migrations (specifically Red Hat 7 to 8/9).
•Provide production and non-production platform support, executing root-cause analysis for complex issues.
•Enable and support approximately 50 developers with build, deployment, and tooling framework challenges.
•Automation & CI/CD Tooling
•Build, maintain, and peer-review high-quality automation scripts using Bash and Python.Design, support, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, with a primary focus on GitLab and Ansible.
•Govern code repository practices, including branching strategies and code reviews.
•Cyber Security & Remediations
•Directly deliver discrete elements of the ForexClear / Frontier AI cyber vulnerability remediation scope.
•Validate infrastructure vulnerabilities and manage security certificates, encryption, and secrets management.
•Apply identity and access management security practices, aligning with PAM and IDAM concepts.
•Delivery & TransformationLead and accelerate large-scale transformation activities, including platform, repository, and legacy modernization.
•Autonomously pull work, navigate corporate ambiguity, and deliver results with minimal supervision in a process-heavy enterprise.

Other info

This is a senior, hands-on DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure requirement supporting ForexClear. The blend required across the three hires includes cyber remediation delivery, backfill to release existing engineers onto priority work, and support for transformation / migration activity.
