Front End Developer (Angular / UI/UX)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Front End Developer to design and build modern, user-centered web applications. In this role, you will craft responsive, accessible user interfaces primarily using Angular and TypeScript, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive experiences, consistent design patterns, and leverage Scor Design System (SDS) standards. You will contribute to front-end architecture, component libraries, performance optimization, and automated testing to ensure a high-quality and maintainable codebase, while using AI-assisted development tools and generative AI to enhance productivity, accelerate delivery, and improve code quality. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience applying AI capabilities in digital experiences and a strong understanding of responsible AI principles, including data privacy, fairness, accessibility, and explainability.

Key duties and responsibilities

• You build and maintain user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with strong attention to usability, responsiveness, and maintainability.

• You partner with UX/UI and product teams to translate user journeys, wireframes, and design systems into polished, consistent experiences.

• You create reusable components, patterns, and documentation to scale delivery and improve consistency across products.

• You integrate REST/JSON services, manage client-side state and data flow (RxJS/signals), and implement robust loading/error states and caching patterns.

• You write automated tests, participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure WCAG-aligned accessibility.

• You use AI-assisted development tools and generative AI to accelerate front-end delivery, improve code quality, and streamline testing and documentation.

• You help evaluate and integrate AI-powered UI capabilities such as intelligent search, assistants, recommendations, or summarization features within enterprise applications.

• You follow secure front-end practices and requirements for handling PII, including responsible AI considerations for privacy, fairness, and explainability.

You have experience with React and can contribute to or migrate components across front-end stacks when needed.

Required experience & competencies

• 5+ years of professional experience building and delivering modern web user interfaces.
• Angular & TypeScript: Strong command of Angular (components, routing, forms, RxJS), TypeScript, and modern JavaScript; experience creating maintainable, testable front-end architecture.
• UX & UI Engineering: Demonstrated ability to translate UX designs into high-quality UI, with understanding of usability principles, interaction patterns, and visual consistency (design systems/component libraries).
• API Consumption: Experience consuming REST/JSON APIs from web applications, including authentication/authorization concepts, request/response handling, error states, and coordinating with backend teams on API contracts.
• Testing & Quality: Experience with automated testing (unit/component/e2e) and working in a code-review culture with engineering standards and documentation.
• Performance: Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization techniques (rendering performance, bundle size, lazy loading, caching strategies).
• AI-Assisted Development: Proven experience using AI-assisted software development tools and workflows to improve front-end engineering productivity.
• Generative AI Enablement: Demonstrated ability to apply generative AI to improve developer productivity, UI content workflows, prototyping, and code quality.
• Responsible AI: Solid understanding of responsible AI principles, including data privacy, fairness, accessibility, and explainability in digital experiences.
• Enterprise AI Integration: Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered capabilities into enterprise web applications through APIs, SDKs, or platform services.
• Security & Privacy Mindset: Understanding of secure coding basics on the web and careful handling of PII and regulated data.

Nice-to-Haves: React experience: familiarity with micro-frontends; experience with Storybook or similar component documentation tools; exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-hosted front-end deployments; and familiarity with integrating AI/ML service endpoints into user-facing applications.

Required Education 

• Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience.
