Backend Developer - Java

Euro-Testing Software Solutions is involved in software consulting, having experience of approx. 20 years on the market in Romania and abroad, through specific IT solutions and services offered in the following areas:

• Software Testing (manual testing, testing automation, performance testing, outsourcing, training and certification, etc.)

• Cyber ​​Security

• DevOps/DevSecOps

• Implementation and Customization of Atlassian & OpenText products (MicroFocus) and other niche products/solutions

• AI based Decision Intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with Java platform
• Strong experience in programming languages and frameworks - Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Worked before with: RESTful web services, JMS/MQ, SQL and relational database design, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2.
• Experience in Unit and Integration testing
• Some exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline for cloud, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, etc.
• Responsible person for ensuring that Java best practices are adhered to
• Responsible person for technical design documentation
• Quick learner and highly motivated to himself/herself abreast with latest technologies
• Good communication skills (Must)
• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies for analysis, content generation, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

•Understand and, if needed, challenge the requirements from business
•Actively participate in code review, development shadowing, testing, development detail design and agile ceremonies
•Design and develop java-based apps that cover all the basic architectural principles stating from high-volume & low-latency systems to critical systems in a high-availability environments
•Contribute with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the development process
•We are big fans of the quote “We build it, we run it!”. As you can imagine, that means we are Dev-Ops fans, and this can be translated in building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
