Cerinte

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
o Automation Engineering
o Electrical Engineering
o Telecommunications
o Industrial IT / Computer Engineering
o Or equivalent technical background
· Hands-on experience with:
o SCADA systems
o PLC programming and troubleshooting
o Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104, etc.)
o Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls) in industrial environments
· Good knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
· Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

· 2–3 years of experience in OT, industrial automation, or similar roles
· Experience in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar, BESS)
· Familiarity with Power Plant Controllers or Energy Management Systems
· Experience with remote monitoring and data acquisition systems
· Basic knowledge of Italian is a plus

Responsabilitati

Key Responsibilities

· Suport the design, implementation and maintenance of OT systems across wind, solar and BESS plants, including:
o SCADA systems
o PLCs, sensors, Power Plant Controllers (PPC) and control systems
o Industrial networks and communication systems
· Provide support for OT-related incidents and troubleshooting
· Collaborate with construction, O&M and Electrical teams to resolve technical issues on-site and remotely
· Assist the Procurement department with technical evaluations and supplier negotiations
· Ensure proper integration between OT systems and central monitoring platforms
· Support commissioning and upgrades of new plants and equipment
· Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and availability
· Implement and enforce OT cybersecurity best practices and policies
· Coordinate with the OT department at HQ in Bolzano for escalations and standardization
· Assist in vendor management and coordination (SCADA providers, turbine manufacturers, internet providers, DSO/TSOs and Dispatchers, etc.)
· Keep Network-architecture design up-to-date and document systems, procedures, and configurations
