    Within the Corporate Risk Management Division, the Restructuring Department plays a key role in supporting clients facing financial difficulties, by identifying sustainable solutions and ensuring the recovery and/or healing of the bank's exposures.

    How you will contribute

    • Manage and take decisions regarding restructuring activities for an allocated portfolio of corporate clients;
    • Develop and implement restructuring strategies tailored to each client's situation, ensuring alignment with internal policies and risk standards;
    • Maintain direct contact with clients (including meetings and negotiations), aiming to identify viable solutions and manage sensitive situations;
    • Structure restructuring solutions, negotiate terms with clients, and formulate proposals for internal approval, to be supported in front of decision makers;
    • Assess the possible loss risk involved and proposes for approval potential level, further being responsible of proper implementation.
    • Monitor the financial and operational evolution of clients to prevent further deterioration and ensure compliance with agreed restructuring terms;
    • Initiate and perform financial and risk analyses necessary to support restructuring or recovery decisions, including but not limited to improvement of client's risk profile (additional collateral etc);
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (risk, legal, account management, front office) and external partners to ensure proper implementation of solutions;
    • Ensure correct implementation of approved solutions in internal systems and ongoing monitoring of guarantees, repayment schedules, and contractual obligations, as well as specific risk markings (forbearance etc);
    • Prepare reports, documentation, and case materials for decision-making bodies;
    • Support senior restructuring managers and contribute to complex transactions and team activities.

    What will help you be successful

    • University / Master's degree in economics, related field;
    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in corporate banking or financial institutions, with upside if previous restructuring experience;
    • Solid understanding of corporate banking, financial analysis, and risk management;
    • Knowledge of restructuring, recovery processes, and legal framework applicable to companies;
    • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
    • Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail;
    • Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and prioritize effectively;
    • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities;
    • Advanced English proficiency and good IT skills.
