Autoliv's primary goal is to Save More Lives. Our products do not get a second chance, which is why we cannot compromise on quality. We work to improve automotive safety by developing seat belts, airbags, and steering wheels - and you can be part of the team as a Process Engineering Intern.

If you are eager to manage the following responsibilities at high standards:

    • Supporting the engineering team in designing, analyzing, and optimizing production processes for automotive safety components.

    • Collecting and analyzing process data (cycle times, yield, defect rates) to identify improvement opportunities.

    • Participating in defining production flows, workstation layouts, and required equipment for launches and ramp-up phases.

    • Assisting in implementing Lean methods and continuous improvement tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) on the production line.

    • Preparing and updating process documentation: operation sheets, work instructions, and quality checklists.

    • Collaborating closely with shop floor operators for real-time testing of solutions and training them on new procedures.

    • Participating in cross-functional teams for problem-solving and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

    If you:

    • Are a final-year student or recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or similar technical fields.

    • Have theoretical knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean methodologies, and process performance measurement tools.

    • Possess analytical skills and are comfortable working with data (Excel or similar tools).

    • Communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally; knowledge of English is an advantage.

    • Enjoy working on the shop floor, have a practical mindset, and are solution-oriented.

    • Are organized, adaptable, and work well in a multicultural team.

    What we offer:

    • The opportunity to learn from senior engineers and actively participate in process improvement projects.

    • Hands-on exposure on the production line and within cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance, Supply).

    • Support in developing technical and management skills through internal training programs.

    • An international work environment, promoting diversity and professional growth opportunities.

If you see yourself in this role, we would be happy to discuss your experience and professional goals.

More lives saved - more life lived!
