Data Scientist CRM

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior CRM Analytics Engineer to join our CRM Analytics team and take ownership of analytical data products that support CRM campaigns, portfolio insights, and customer analytics.

This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and advanced analytics, with a strong focus on building scalable, reliable, and reusable datasets in a Databricks/Lakehouse environment. You will work closely with CRM Campaign Managers, business stakeholders, and Group data and analytics teams to translate business needs into high-quality analytical solutions that directly impact customer engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain analytical data marts and datasets in Databricks to support CRM campaigns and portfolio analytics

• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines using SQL and PySpark

• Ensure data quality, consistency, reproducibility, and documentation for all analytical assets

• Actively contribute to the migration of analytical workloads from SAS to Databricks

• Leverage AI / GenAI capabilities (including Databricks Genie) to enable self-service analytics and natural language querying for business users

• Design and develop CRM dashboards in Databricks

• Work closely with CRM Campaign Managers and Business colleagues and support audience selection, post-campaign evaluation

• Collaborate with local teams and Group stakeholders on data transformation and analytics initiatives

What Makes You Successful in This Role

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data mart development, data modeling, and advanced analytics, ideally in CRM or portfolio analytics contexts

• Advanced SQL skills and strong experience building analytical datasets

• Hands-on experience with Databricks (SQL, notebooks, PySpark) or similar cloud data platforms

• Proven ability to work with large-scale, complex datasets in production-grade environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with CRM or marketing analytics (segmentation, uplift, experimentation)

• Hybrid profile combining Analytics Engineer / Senior Data Analyst capabilities

• Experience with SAS, Python, and/or BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.)

• Background in banking, financial services
