    Requirements

    Join our Audit & Advisory team and support clients in navigating complex financial reporting and accounting matters. This role is designed for a professional with strong IFRS technical expertise who enjoys combining deep accounting knowledge with practical, client‑focused solutions.

    Requirements:

    Professional Experience & Education
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field
    5+ years of relevant experience in IFRS reporting, audit, or accounting advisory
    Hands‑on experience with IFRS financial reporting
    Exposure to IFRS conversions or group reporting or consolidation is a strong advantage

    Technical & Professional Skills
    In‑depth understanding of IFRS standards and their practical application
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex accounting guidance and apply standards to different scenarios
    Ability to clearly document and communicate technical conclusions, both in writing and verbally
    Confidence working independently while managing multiple assignments and deadlines
    Strong collaboration skills and a professional, client‑oriented mindset

    Certifications & Language Skills
    ACCA qualification or active progress toward ACCA
    ACCA Diploma in IFRS (DipIFR) is a strong advantage
    Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

    Responsibilities

    Job summary

    As Senior IFRS Advisory Specialist you will contribute to high‑quality financial reporting, support audit engagements with technical insight and advise local and international clients on IFRS application, conversions and group reporting topics. You will work closely with senior colleagues, partners and international teams, while also acting as a reference point on IFRS matters within the firm.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality application of standards across all engagements
    Actively contributes to audit quality by supporting IFRS consistency, well-reasoned professional judgment, and compliance with applicable financial reporting requirements
    Provide technical IFRS support to audit and advisory teams on complex accounting matters, supporting risk identification related to financial reporting
    Assist clients with:
    > IFRS conversions and first‑time adoption projects, including statutory‑to‑IFRS reconciliations
    > Group reporting and consolidation matters, ensuring consistency of IFRS application across reporting entities
    > Interpretation and implementation of new or amended IFRS standards, assessing their impact on financial statements and disclosures
    Analyze complex transactions (e.g. leases, revenue recognition, financial instruments) and assess appropriate accounting treatments under IFRS, identifying potential accounting and reporting risks
    Draft technical accounting memoranda, IFRS position papers, and analyses to support accounting conclusions, audit quality and defensible client decisions
    Support communication with international clients and cross‑border teams on IFRS‑related topics, contributing to alignment and consistency within group engagements
    Contribute to the development of internal IFRS guidance, training materials, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives, strengthening technical capabilities across the firm
    Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS developments and proactively assess their potential impact on clients, engagements and audit risk.
