Cost Controller

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
o Reconcile inventory balances with general ledger accounts on a monthly basis while maintaining and validating inventory cost data to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
o  Calculate and set standard costs for raw materials and finished goods, and analyze inventory variances resulting from standard price changes. 
o  Prepare regular cost analyses comparing actual results to budget, propose corrective actions, and drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant
o  Monitor inbound freight costs and purchase price variances (PPV), ensuring fluctuations remain within acceptable thresholds. 
o  Prepare and review production-related accounting entries for both group and statutory reporting. 
o  Support the Finance Manager with monthly financial reviews and variance analysis, while preparing reports and data insights to support decision-making. 
o  Prepare financial data requested by Business Units and Headquarters for consolidation purposes. 
o  Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Marketing, Procurement, and Materials teams as a key finance business partner. 
o  Ensure compliance with internal procedures, accounting standards, quality system requirements, and company policies, and support internal and external audit activities. 
o  Promote a safe, ethical, and professional working environment and comply with occupational safety requirements.

 For This Role, You Will Need: o University degree in a relevant field.
o Experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or financial reporting.
o Knowledge of inventory control and production forecasting or planning methods.
o Experience working with MRP/ERP systems and accounting applications.
o Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
o Effective communication and collaboration skills.
o Proficiency in English and solid PC skills (MS Office, Internet, Email).
 Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: o Background in manufacturing environments or production cost analysis.
o Experience improving cost control processes.
o Practical exposure to HFM or similar consolidation tools.
o Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams and support audits.
