About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated Power System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work with advances network analysis applications and support studies related to power system modelling, steady-sate analysis, contingency evaluation, dynamic ratings, and overall grid performance. This role requires both strong technical knowledge in electrical power systems and the ability to understand and interpret C++ application logic.
Job responsibilities:
• Operate and provide expert support for applications used in power system analysis and real-time operations.
• Understand the implementation details of power system applications, including algorithms, workflows, and data flows and correlate their functionality with power system phenomena
• Diagnose and resolve application malfunctions by analyzing root causes related to databases, configuration, or code.
• Propose and implement corrective actions or improvements to ensure stable and reliable application performance.

Responsabilitati

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5y experience of relevant experience in power system analysis or utility/grid operations
• Strong theoretical knowledge of power system analysis , grid modelling and electrical network behavior
• Ability to read and understand C++ code and its application in engineering software.
• Familiarity with power system simulation tools (e.g., PSSE, Eurostag, Neplan, ETAP)
• Solid understanding of:
o Load flow algorithms ( e.g., Newton – Raphson)
o Steady-state and dynamic studies
o State Estimator (WLS)
o Contingency analysis.
• Experience conducting time-domain analysis pr dynamic stability studies
