What you’ll do:
As a Linux & Infrastructure Engineer, your mission is to contribute to the smooth operation of clients’ IT infrastructure by installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Linux systems and related equipment. You play an active role in troubleshooting, improving performance, and automating processes, ensuring secure, stable services delivered on time.
1. Systems Implementation and Maintenance
· System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems and infrastructure components (e.g., servers, storage solutions, network equipment).
· Monitoring: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of systems and services.
· Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
· Automation: Develop scripts and use automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) to optimize repetitive tasks.
· Implementation: Execute infrastructure projects (e.g., proposing and implementing physical infrastructure, cloud migrations, system upgrades) in line with design specifications and documentation.
2. Troubleshooting and Support
· Issue Resolution: Identify and promptly resolve system issues, including server outages, performance problems, and application errors.
· Incident Management: Respond to infrastructure incidents within SLA limits, documenting remediation steps.
· Root Cause Analysis: Conduct post-mortems and implement corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence.
3. Security and Compliance
· Patching and Updates: Apply operating system patches and updates to maintain security.
