    Role overview: As a Demand Manager SAP ECM, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing business demands related to Enterprise Content Management processes and translating them into secure, compliant, and scalable SAP ECM solutions. You will act as the key interface between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners, ensuring that SAP ECM platforms support efficient document management, records retention, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

    Tasks:

    • Act as the primary interface between business units, IT, and external service providers in the SAP ECM environment (e.g. SAP DMS, SAP ArchiveLink, OpenText, Adobe, SAP Content Server)
    • Collect, analyse, prioritize, and manage business demands and requirements related to document and content management
    • Translate business needs into functional and technical concepts and solution designs
    • Manage changes, enhancements, and release activities across ECM platforms
    • Own and maintain the ECM roadmap and demand backlog
    • Ensure compliance with governance, security, data protection, and records management requirements
    • Support rollouts, testing, user training, and go-live activities
    • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvements of ECM processes and systems
    Qualifications:
    • Degree in Business Informatics, Information Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
    • Several years of experience in Demand Management, Application Management, or Product Management
    • Strong experience with SAP ECM solutions (e.g. OpenText, Adobe, SAP DMS, SAP ArchiveLink, SAP Content Server)
    • Solid understanding of document lifecycle, records management, and compliance requirements
    • Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams
    • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Very good English skills; German is a plus
    Nice to Have:
    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA document integration
    • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, retention policies)
    • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
