Requirements

What typically gives a good starting point for a Data Management Specialist?

Experience in a customer support/customer facing role
You are eager to work with customers and provide support for data-related requests
Independent working style and taking ownership of what you do, as well as ability to work collaboratively within a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize your work effectively, and diligence with routine tasks
Experience with SQL – you can follow scripts and understand what they do as well as create simple queries
Ability to get quickly up-to-speed with new software and technologies
Great communication skills – you are at ease with managing stakeholder communication
Fluency in English – other language skills are highly appreciated
Bonus that will make your learning curve smoother

Basic understanding of data visualization tools is an advantage
Understanding of Procurement/Finance

Responsibilities

As a Data Management Specialist, you would:

Managing, troubleshooting, and resolving data classification and supplier parenting customer requests through our support platform.
Take the initiative to solve possible data-related problems on their own and by cooperating with your teammates, software development teams and/or directly with clients
Serve as a subject matter expert in data management by actively communicating with clients via email and occasionally participating in client meetings.
Utilize technical concepts and skills to investigate, analyze, and resolve data issues.
Proactively identify and address root causes of data issues, ensuring long-term solutions, improvements and maintainability
Take part in the continuous development of our software and internal best practices to increase the speed and quality of handling and classifying spend data.

As a Data Management Specialist, you would be joining our Process Data Management team where we excel in delivering outstanding spend classification and supplier consolidation services for our clients.

This is a full-time, entry-level, position that provides a great starting point for your career in Sievo. The salary for this position ranges from 4000 to 5000 RON/net per month. This is a hybrid role, and candidate is expected to be based in Bucharest.
