    The P&C Product and Technology team within the P&C Operations division, is in charge of the management of all the products used within the P&C Division. Its mandates are as follows:

    • Maintain, and evolve future-ready platforms by fostering collaboration with product owners, IT, and P&C Stakeholders, ensuring intuitive user experiences, service continuity, and alignment with strategic priorities.

    • Unify and empower cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, innovative, and high-performing tools that support underwriting excellence and scalable business growth across all P&C business units in collaboration with IT team and Business teams.

    • Support Business As Usual Operations, including: 

      • Managing and operating the control environment (including escalation of breaches) and mechanisms to continually improve through the process, data or technology. 

      • Facilitating the consolidation, presentation and reporting for internal P&C Operational matters or their stakeholders across the broader P&C community. 

      • Facilitating and/or supporting ad hoc business events including such as Product launches (coordination across all of P&C and Finance Comex Domains), New Joiner Onboarding, Regulator requests, Legal Entity support.   

      • Generating ideas and driving execution that will help us automate, simplify, integrate and continue innovating.  

    Key duties and responsibilities

    • P&C Operational Support Activities 

      • Accountable for the Operational BAU you have been assigned to (audit support, exception reports, regulator or legal entity requests, and launches) 

        • Ensure operational compliance (ICS/Control Monitoring, auditability, security controls, user rights reviews, business process controls)

        • Ensure business resilience by supporting the development of processes and controls to avoid incidents

        • Identify changes that will improve Operational activities to drive operational excellence with simplification, automation and standardization

        • Significant contributor to the execution of continuous improvement process

        • Significant contributor in driving the knowledge base to support business processes, applications and FAQ's. 

    • P&C Data Integrity Support 

      • Perform weekly, monthly and yearly tasks (to maintain reference data) and help support the confidence of P&C data quality through active monitoring.

      • Review exceptions, escalating where required to help P&C ensure a standard of data quality 
      • Support and Identify root causes of data quality issues and implement permanent fix.
    • P&C Products Maintenance management 

      • Triage, Prioritize and analyze issues reported by Partners, users or exception monitoring with Service Now.

      • Problem solving with root cause identification (technical and functional), prepare proposals and propose solutions to remediate both in short and long term. 

      • Participate in the full lifecycle, from request, definition, build and test. 

      • Onboard new users with training and refresher sessions

    • AI and Automation 

      • Contribute to the operational excellence with the use of AI in the Operations and Product maintenance 

      • Identify use cases and support the automation repetitive tasks

    • Support (P&C Operations, Claims, Underwriting, IT, Third party partners)

      • Act as the operational contact point for underwriting teams and other business units 

        • Ensure transparency, regular communication, and proactive anticipation of issues

    • Scope of operations and products

      • Underwriting, Claims, ICS processes

    Experience:

    • At least 1-3 years of experience as a Business, Systems or Operational Analyst in an operation department and/or supporting applications within an agile environment. 

    Soft skills:

    • Proactive, open-minded and possessing good team spirit in a cross-cultural environment
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to signal problems early and identify appropriate solutions and provide updates on progress and where support is required.
    • Ability to prioritize workloads and progress on issues simultaneously

    • Demonstrates good attention to detail 

    Technical skills:

    • Data analysis and extraction in SQL is a plus
    • Good understanding of supporting business processes in a technical or service delivery model
    • Software Application Project/Maintenance Experience in Agile environment with Azure DevOps or similar tools
    • Reporting dashboards: experience with Excel, Tableau or other BI tool

    Required Education:

    • Engineering degree required or higher education diploma (Bachelor or higher) in a technical degree such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related experience

    • English (written and spoken) and French is a plus
