We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to contribute to automating our infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments. You will work alongside senior team members, applying your knowledge of DevOps tools to help build and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure that supports our development teams.

Responsibilities:

• AWS Infrastructure Management: Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) on AWS. Deploy and manage AWS resources independently, applying performance, security, and cost optimization best practices. Collaborate with senior engineers on complex architectural decisions.

• GitLab Administration: Manage GitLab operations, including configuration and maintenance. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, following established standards.

• Containerization and Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies. Manage Kubernetes workloads and support EKS cluster operations, including deployments, troubleshooting, and scaling.

• Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to provision and manage resources efficiently, following established patterns and standards.

• Configuration Management: Use Ansible to automate deployment processes and manage configuration across environments.

• Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts in Python and Bash for automation and integration tasks.

• Networking: Manage basic networking components including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.

• Monitoring and Observability: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting using Prometheus. Create and maintain dashboards in Grafana. Implement and manage log aggregation with Loki

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues, escalating complex or unfamiliar problems when appropriate.

• Continuous Learning: Stay current with DevOps trends, tools, and best practices.

Skills and Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in DevOps or related roles

• Experience with AWS services and cloud computing concepts

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals

• Experience in GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code principles

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and willingness to collaborate

Nice to have:

• Exposure to GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux)

• Basic security practices (IAM policies, least privilege, secrets handling)

• Familiarity with ServiceNow
