Accounting Specialist @Flip
We're looking for a detail-driven and proactive Accounting Specialist who contributes to accurate financial operations, drives process improvements, and supports a reliable finance function. If you value structure, accountability, and continuous improvement, this role is a great fit for you.
What you'll have to do:
As part of our Finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and smooth accounting operations:
- Process supplier invoices for operating expenses and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
- Allocate incoming payments received via collection partners for customer receivables;
- Perform Intercompany (ICO) reconciliations and record intercompany invoices accurately and on time;
- Manage prepaid expenses in line with accrual accounting principles;
- Calculate, record, and reconcile fixed asset depreciation;
- Reconcile Accounts Payable balances and investigate discrepancies;
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities;
- Maintain clear documentation and a solid audit trail for all transactions;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve accounting matters;
- Actively contribute to process optimization and internal control improvements.
What makes you a good fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounting (AP, GL, or similar roles);
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows;
- Experience with invoice processing, fixed assets, and account reconciliations;
- Intercompany accounting knowledge is a strong plus;
- Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP experience (especially SAP) is an advantage;
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ownership mentality;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines confidently;
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
