Requirements

For our business partner, one of the largest integrators of IT and physical security solutions for national and European critical infrastructure, we are seeking a PL/SQL Developer to join their on-site team in Bucharest on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing scripts and PL/SQL packages that power core applications. A strong understanding of Oracle environments is essential, and a solid working knowledge of Oracle APEX is a must. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to improving the functionality and efficiency of our database solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
Minimum 3 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer;
Proven ability to write efficient and complex database queries and scripts
Experience with Oracle database technologies and tools
Knowledge of Oracle APEX is highly must
Critical and analytical thinking
Focus on finding solutions and achieving the established result
Team player with good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
Collaborate with other developers and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into database solutions.
Lead thorough testing and debugging of PL/SQL scripts to ensure robust applications.
Monitor and optimize database performance through efficient schema design and indexing strategies.
Assists in database design and suggests improvements to existing databases.
Provides support and maintenance for existing applications
Document changes made under internal standards.
