Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering firm based in Bucharest, part of an international group delivering complex infrastructure and industrial projects across Europe. With a strong focus on sectors such as water treatment, civil works, hydraulics, energy, and automation, the company offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and collaborate with expert teams using advanced digital tools.

You’ll be responsible for the design and documentation of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial installations across all project phases—from bidding to execution. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and support commissioning activities, ensuring compliance and quality throughout.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of EPLAN, CANECO, and REVIT is a plus
Experience in industrial automation is an advantage
English proficiency (written & spoken);
Strong initiative, ownership, and organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication, and team spirit

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Design electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial installations
Prepare technical documentation for bidding, design, and execution phases
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, process, and hydraulic departments
Support commissioning and provide technical assistance
Ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and project timelines
Coordinate with subcontractors to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks
Manage and update AS-Built documentation and ensure traceability
Travel occasionally for short site visits (domestic & international)
