Automation Engineer - Timisoara

Key Responsibilities
Execute corrective and preventive maintenance on fully automated production lines (PLC/HMI-controlled)Analyze and troubleshoot automation-related issues using Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC FlexiblePerform real-time PLC logic modifications, HMI interface updates, and diagnosticsImplement back-up and recovery procedures for PLC and control systemsParticipate in cross-functional root cause analysis (RCA) teams to reduce downtime and improve MTBFProvide automation input in CAPEX project implementation and new equipment integrationDrive continuous improvement through OEE enhancement and process optimization

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation2+ years of experience with industrial automation systems and PLCs in a manufacturing environmentHands-on expertise in:Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC FlexibleIndustrial communication protocols: PROFIBUS, PROFINET, ASiActuators, sensors, safety systems, and control panel componentsSolid understanding of mechatronic systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, servo drives, and invertersExperience with preventive maintenance software and system documentationFluent in English (technical documentation, troubleshooting, collaboration)
