Requirements

Required:
• The successful candidate must meet the following minimum standard. You are encouraged to directly address the below points in your application to show the minimum requirements are met:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Installation for Construction), specialized in HVAC and/or Public Health & Fire Fighting systems or similar);
• 0 - 3 years experience of designing mechanical systems (HVAC/Public Health/ Fire Fighting) in a variety of building types;
• Experience in REVIT or AutoCAD for Drafting 2D and 3D-drawings for mechanical systems;
• Good English verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
• Good experience of writing specifications, design, and detailing of Mechanical systems;

• Ability easily to different work requirements and conditions
• A strong desire to expand knowledge through mentoring, collaboration with colleagues and active participation in industry groups
• Determinate to work in an active team
• Highly communicative: effective verbal and written communication skills in both Romanian and English
• Interested in BIM and coordination software.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
• Experience and aptitude for the following will be of considerable benefit to candidates’ applications:
• Support the Project leader in the design phase: Drafting PID´s (Process Diagrams/ Functional Schematics Preparing), pressure drop calculations, flow calculations, equipment sizing and selection, sizing of pipes, ducts, parts and fittings etc.;
• Coordinate with the Mechanical design engineers and all other relevant disciplines
• Working in AutoCAD, REVIT and other specific software used to perform mechanical design tasks;
• Familiarity with Romanian and European design standards and Health and Safety regulations;
• Follow in full the Quality Assurance processes relevant to project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence are prepared, issued, filed and archived in an appropriate manner, in accordance with the company’s QA protocols.
