    Brandstorm is L’Oréal’s signature innovation competition for young people and the only certified youth innovation competition worldwide. This year's mission is challenging you to CRAFT THE FUTURE OF LUXURY FRAGRANCE. To uncover innovative ways to engage fragrance consumers, you can explore one or more of the playing fields that make our unique fragrance creation savoir-faire – the Art & Science of Fragrance:

    1. PRODUCT CRAFTMANSHIP: Redefine luxury fragrance with unparalleled craftsmanship, challenging norms and fulfilling sophisticated desires. Create innovative scents using hyper-quality ingredients and drive sustainable consumption through refillable solutions, transcending traditional perfumery.
    2. TECH & SCIENCE: Leverage cutting-edge tech and science throughout the luxury fragrance value chain. Deliver personalized products, smart devices, and seamless omnichannel journeys using data, VR, and GenAI. Create innovative, tailor-made solutions that empower self-expression and meet unique consumer needs.
    3. TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE: Revolutionize luxury fragrance with cutting-edge tech and science. Offer personalized products, smart devices, and seamless omnichannel journeys, leveraging data, VR, and GenAI for tailor-made solutions that empower self-expression.
    4. ADVOCACY & COMMUNITIES: Engage advocates, creators, and communities to drive interest and set trends, particularly in fragrance where #fragrancetok is influential. Foster relevance and inclusion through interaction, mirroring the viral success of initiatives like the Miu Miu Miutine launch.
    What are the criteria to participate?

    👥     As a competition meant for youth, participants should be aged 18 to 30, and no specific educational level is required, as long as you have a passion for digital, tech, marketing, engineering, and the list goes on. You need to create or join a team of 3, collaborating with your peers or other fellow enthusiasts.

    What are the steps for registration? 🚀
    • Register on the Brandstorm platform.
    • Form a team of 3 members.
    • Access valuable learning resources and local masterclasses post-registration to enhance project presentation skills.
    • Discover L’Oréal’s culture.
    • Start working on your presentation around the 4 playing fields.
    • All project submissions will include a 3-slide PowerPoint and a 3-minute video pitch (all deliverables should be in English).
    • Get selected in the Local Final & pitch your idea in front of the L’Oréal Romania executive board.
    • Travel to Paris and have an amazing international experience!
    What is the timeline? 🗓️
    • March 29th: Deadline for submitting the deliverables.
    • April 3rd: Selection of Local Finalist Teams leading to the National Final.
    • May 13th: National Final pitching.
    • June: Local Winning Team will head to the International Finals in Paris!
