Quality Documentation Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible to verify, validate & approve the quality documents received from suppliers for the critical components used in assembly of the product, including the material certificates for pressure retaining parts.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Verification of the documentation package from suppliers, according to Emerson internal requirements

• Verification of quality certificates (Q certs) for all Flow value streams (MAG, Vortex, Coriolis)

• Checking the shared email box and documentation received from suppliers, in accordance with the procedures in force;

• Updating/maintaining the activity traceability excel file

• Reading/interpreting part drawings and MDS (material data sheet) / POS (Purchase order specification) - low/medium complexity

• Managing variable complex documentation (low/medium)

• Following up with suppliers, engineering and project management departments for possible problems or errors in the documentation received

• Receives and verify requests from the production department regarding quality/product certificates required by customers

•  Creates traceability by completing information and archiving quality/product certificates in specific locations

• Assists internal customers (Production department, Order Administration, PMO, etc.) by issuing the requested quality/product certificates for orders.

• Handling all non-conformities on certificates in collaboration with Production/Manufacturing/NDT departments

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 1-3 years in a similar position or working with technical documentation.
• Knowledge and/or experience working with IT systems (databases, Oracle/SAP, Enovia
• Strong proficiency in Office Package and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
