About the team

We are now looking for a Data Steward to join our Data Management team in Bucharest to champion the improved, newly created supplier data technologies at Sievo.


This team plays a pivotal role in the roll-out and maintenance of Sievo's newly established Supplier database, housing millions of companies records globally. The team is ensuring the quality of our existing customer migrations and carrying out new centralized data services, while contributing to the development of our internal processes. Furthermore, as we are continuously looking into expanding the supplier information we host in the central service, the team gets to be at the forefront of providing new value to our customers.

What we are looking for from you

Independent workstyle and natural ability to take ownership
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle vast amounts of data
Eagerness to work with customers
SQL enthusiasm, no need to be a wizard already!
Desire to always develop your skills
Fluency in English. Other language skills are appreciated
Good communication skills
Extra points for

Previous experience with Master Data Management
Experience with SQL and working with big data sets
Knowledge /understanding of procurement

Responsibilities

About the role

Build, monitor and maintain the quality of data in Sievo’s central supplier database
Validate supplier normalization results provided by AI and how 3rd party data links to harmonized suppliers
Migrate our existing customers supplier data to the new central tool
Work with a combination of Sievo’s own proprietary tools, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Office tools
Provide active improvement ideas to the tools created for our centralized data services
Support other Data Management teams on the tooling and methodology
Work and communicate internally with other Sievonians but also represent Sievo’s centralized data services externally with our customers
Ensure that everything you do is robust, sustainable, and scalable
Have the courage to question things and to speak up: We believe development comes from challenging the status quo

The salary range for this role is 4000 to 5000 RON/NET per month. This is an entry-level position that provides a great starting point in your career in Sievo.
