    Short company description

At Evolve today we offer complex Human Resources services, from business consulting to headhunting and recruitment. We have extensive experience in finding talented professionals, for a variety of industries, especially in the IT sector.
We started with a dream: to create a Human Resources company with a strong, unique profile on the market, deeply shaped by our core values: commitment to performance, professionalism, a balanced approach and deep satisfaction for our clients.
From that moment, we nurtured special relationships and we continuously evolved, being flexible, but staying true to our values. We aim higher and higher and we invite you to EVOLVE with us!

    Requirements

For our business partner — a leading company in the digital payments space — we’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build secure, scalable, and modern infrastructure for cutting-edge financial platforms used by thousands of users daily.

The company’s office is in Bucharest, but we’re recruiting nationwide — this is a full-remote role open to candidates across Romania.

The collaboration can be on a CIM (employment contract) or B2B, depending on your preference.

If you’re passionate about cloud-native technologies, automation, and container orchestration, and want to work on impactful products in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, this is your chance to make a real difference.

If this sounds like your kind of challenge, let’s talk!

    The professional value you bring:

Strong Windows and Linux administration experience
Proven expertise in software lifecycle management and CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
Solid hands-on experience with Azure services, including but not limited to:
    AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
    Azure Container Registry (ACR)
    Windows & Linux Virtual Machines
    Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs)
    Azure SignalR Service
DNS Zones, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, VPN Gateways
Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Application Insights
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) and Configuration Management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
Scripting/programming proficiency (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ruby)
Familiarity with monitoring and APM tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Azure Monitor)
Deep understanding of containerization, image security, and orchestration systems
Knowledge of Distributed Systems, High Availability, Scalability, and Resilience concepts
Strong focus on cloud and container security, including vulnerability management, secret management, and compliance monitoring
Excellent English communication skills — both written and verbal

    Nice to Have

    Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, or AZ-305)
Experience with DevSecOps, GitOps toolchains (Flux, ArgoCD), and container image signing (Cosign, Notary)
Knowledge of Zero Trust networking principles

    Responsibilities

    What will you do?

Manage and operate AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters with best practices for deployment, networking, scaling, and security
Design and implement secure, cost-efficient, and highly available cloud architectures leveraging Azure and managed services
Administer, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in close collaboration with development teams
Oversee infrastructure components such as Windows VMs, Linux workloads, NVAs (Network Virtual Appliances), SignalR, and other Azure resources
Manage networking and connectivity within Azure (VNETs, VPNs, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, DNS Zones)
Apply security best practices across infrastructure and workloads — including image security, vulnerability scanning, and identity and access management
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Azure Monitor) to ensure observability and reliability
Implement GitOps principles to enable declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and deployments
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC tools
Identify and drive automation opportunities across infrastructure and delivery pipelines to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure disaster recovery, resilience, and compliance objectives are met
