Calibration Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Performs adaptation, configuration, development, testing, implementation and integration of solutions necessary to optimize the operation of internal combustion engines;
• Thus ensures the calibration of various functions on the vehicle but also the operation from an intersystem point of view;
• Is responsible, for the calibration and validation of the engine ECU in order to comply with the specifications;
• Plans, with the possible assistance of the supervisor and/or the Local Technical Leader, activities under his responsibility in coherence with the project planning and reports the level of progress;
• Performs, tests, implements and modifies parameters respecting the constraints of the other services, while ensuring traceability;
• Produces test reports;
• Participates and contributes to the calibration consolidation meetings;
• Performs calibration validation runs and ensures that functional calibrations are made available to other functions, as well as in the factory or after sales, that meet the requirements of the specifications;
• Participates in project progress meetings;
• Participates in Job Meetings organized by the Job Supervisor and/or LTL, participates in drafting powertrain setup procedures;
• Applies job standards, participates in their evolution and develops new standards.

• Higher education / Road Vehicle Engineer;
• Intermediate English skills;
• Intermediate French skills are a plus;
• Specific software calibration skills;
• Automotive mechanics skills;
• Category B driving license.
