What you'll have to do: 

• Develop domain-driven data applications using the following technologies: Python, PySpark, SQL, Jupyter, Gitlab, Apache Airflow, Apache Iceberg;
• Orchestrate assets (timing and dependencies) in Apache Airflow;
• Work closely with business analysts and customers (financial, commercial, operations) to define and document requirements for data and reporting needs;
• Create various reports, complex queries, and business domain related datasets using our internal Data Platform;
• Design, code and document effective technical solutions for data acquisition and processing;
• Optimize existing reports, improve application performance and speed;
• Monitor data quality and current processes performance;
• Solve support tickets and actively propose improvements in implementations and standards.

What makes you a good fit:

• Have strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Data Warehouses (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, BigQuery etc);
• Have 2-3+ years of proven experience as Data Engineer / DWH Developer / BI Developer;
• Have experience writing complex data transformation code with business logic;
• Have implemented testing on your code/data: unit tests, integration tests, data quality tests;
• Know your way with a Unix-based command-line terminal;
• Have experience with ETL tools  and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI;
• Have experience working on data warehouse or lakehouse solutions.

What makes you stand out:

• Familiarity with applying design patterns and abstractions in code;
• Experience with DDL and DML operations and strategies;
• Understanding of coding standards importance and quality focus with attention to details;
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Apache Iceberg, Impala, Gitlab, Jupyter, or Datalake technologies.
