Logistics Analyst I

We have an opportunity for a Logistics Analyst to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where will run our logistics operations for BA IS and rest of Bucharest site. 

The logistics Analyst will partner with Bucharest business departments to ensure smooth logistics (import and export) operations. A strong collaboration with Warehouse Operations as well as Support functions (Finance, HSE) is a key to success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day logistics operations for BA and full Bucharest site having as objectives decrease the Import formalities duration and efficient cost control on both import and export transport/logistics activities.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely import Customs formalities (Non-Schengen origins). Act with responsibility between beneficiary department and Custom agent for all legal and accounting formalities. Request payment for Custom duties/VAT in a timely manner.
• Represent cover all needs of  HON Romania on e-transport for Schengen imports (no custom). Liaise with HON Distribution Centers that are sending products to Romania to align the shipment details and get the UIT from e-transport system
• Outbound and inbound  logistics. Identify most time and cost efficient transportation for our inbound imports and outbound exports for non parcel shipments.
• Operate the Local WizCount ERP system to manage the warehouse transactions. Collaborate with the warehouse operator for matching physical stocks with the system ones.
• Ensure invoices received for logistics services are properly matched with internal cost centers and release them for payment.
• Maintain accurate records of activity in order to be able to track volumes and calculate KPIs

Key skills and qualifications

• MS Office ( Outlook, Excel as minimum)
• SAP, WizCount (ideal) 
• English Language required
• Good analytical skills
• Good knowledge of logistics and warehouse activities
• Logistics activities and processes
• Import and export basic process knowledge
• Communication skills - oral, written
• Negotiation including supplier price negotiation for logistics services
• Basic knowledge of accounting (Cost Centre, GL accounts)
