Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of networks and communication protocols, including key security concepts (e.g., firewalls, VLANs, etc.).
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux, including command-line usage on both platforms.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic knowledge of databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
• Web application fundamentals, including:
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics
  • Understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP/HTTPS protocols
  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs and how to consume them
  • Understanding of front-end vs back-end concepts
  • Awareness of web security basics (authentication, authorization, secure data handling)
• Programming best practices, including:
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts: classes, objects, inheritance, encapsulation, polymorphism
  • SOLID principles for maintainable and scalable code

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration: Able to work effectively on IT-related projects within cross-disciplinary teams.
• Structured working style: Capable of documenting activities and processes in a clear and organized manner.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of IT monitoring tools and related concepts.
• Awareness of modern application architectures and technologies such as REST APIs, microservices, NoSQL databases, and distributed systems.
• Exposure to containerization solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

Education

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in IT Systems, IT Infrastructure, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Languages

• English: Advanced level (written and spoken)

Job Description

As a working student in the IT Production department you will have the opportunity to practice and increase you knowledge in the IT fields with a variety of subjects. We are responsible for the production IT which includes a variety of areas and projects. Some of this fields are:

• IT infrastructure and MES system in Bosch Cluj.
• IT security in our manufacturing area.
• Monitoring the IT systems in the manufacturing area.
• Development of software tools / applications for improving manufacturing IT landscape visibility, monitoring, and security, in terms of resources performance, IT asset management, backup and cybersecurity concept.
• IT Infrastructure projects of the plant, within manufacturing IT scope. This includes new system/solution setup, rollout, update/upgrade/refresh of existing system.
