Mission

Acts as a trusted and independent advisor to senior management and board members, helping them make informed tactical and strategic decisions.

Serves as a role model in Finance Advice, handling multiple complex areas. Uses advanced methods and has a strong impact on the organization.

Your day to day

• Helps design and manage the financial planning and control framework for their area. Advises business partners and coordinates with key stakeholders

• Tracks industry and internal trends, interprets their impact, and explores new ways to apply insights

• Provides expert guidance to senior leaders on strategic and tactical decisions. Plays an important role in shaping business related choices

• Gathers and analyzes complex data, research, and model results. Builds and monitors financial trends using visual tools

• Sets up and maintains the planning and control framework in line with the financial governance of the business unit

• Ensures alignment across Finance teams and consistency with business strategies

• Evaluates strategic directions based on market trends and current developments

• Understands past, current, and future performance using metrics like interest margins, commissions revenues, impact from costs, and capital-weighted returns

• Reviews major investment proposals and strategic business plans.

• Conducts ongoing performance reviews, scenario analyses, stress tests, and advises on potential outcomes

• Designs and monitors predictive models, using advanced analytics and statistical techniques where needed.

What you bring to the team

• University degree in Economics or Business Strategy

• Previous experience in a finance role and/or in the financial services industry as a senior

• Advanced English skills

• Accounting (regulations and principles), data analysis and business strategy

• ALM, FTP, Risk, Capital management topics can be an advantage.
