We're looking for a visionary and results-driven professional to oversee the full lifecycle of electronics product design!

Key Responsibilities
 

• Collaborate Across Functions: Act as the key interface between Product Groups, Market & Strategic Intelligence, global regions and leadership to ensure all product requirements are clearly defined and aligned.
• Build and lead high-performing design teams.
• Manage Resources & Budgets: Strategically plan and oversee investments and expenses related to electronics product design, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Drive Cross-Functional Reviews: Organize and lead design reviews, aligned with company standards and QCD goals (Quality, Cost, and Delivery).
• Own and track the Design & Development plan and milestones.
• Report Progress to Leadership: Provide regular updates and performance reviews to Yazaki management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Report progress to senior management and stakeholders: Work closely with process engineers and toolmakers to guarantee designs are optimized for manufacturing.
• Project Quotations:
• Analyze requirements and deliver clear, actionable documentation
• Identify and evaluate technical alternatives
• Estimate effort, resources, and costs
• Present solutions and strategies to internal management
• Request and manage supplier quotes
   

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive electronics development.
• Knowledge on the specific requirements of automotive electronics.
• Knowledge on tools for schematic capture, layout and simulation.
• Experienced in interactions with automotive customers.
• Knowledge on the development flow for automotive electronic products.
• Experienced in heading a multi-disciplined engineering team.
• Experience with high voltage electronics in automotive environmental (OBC, inverter, high voltage junction box, battery systems)
• Proficient in English.
