• Leading and overseeing a diverse team consisting of engineers (process, maintenance) as well as production staff, promoting collaboration of optimized operations.
• Assisting in disciplinary measures regarding the team;To support the teambuilding and relationship within the team;
• Evaluate and develop the team, teach and coach, in terms of required knowledge / specifications / capabilities and behavior;Assure the required training & qualification / certification for the function;
• Provide comprehensive technical support and expertise for the assigned production lines, focusing on optimizing processes and ensuring smooth operations;Planning and controlling of costs vs budget as well as resources (equipment, people, material);
• Manages the limited resources within the production. Has to prioritize in case of unplanned situations (e.g. which production line to run)Gives permission for planned production line stops (e.g. for line improvements or sample builds)
• Can decide to stop the production line if the conditions are dangerous (work safety)
• Escalates according to escalation matrix (based on abnormalities from the normal condition)
• Reducing production expenses by optimizing material management method, machine maintenance level and by improving operator's quality sense;
• Executing Production Segment routines (including LPA, Gemba walk, Production Team meetings) and discussing with the next management level upon problems and/or deviations in routine fulfilment;
• Act as the key contact person with all internal interfacing departments / functionDealing with conflicts and resourcesLeading change management (organization, processes);Ensuring the production and testing of customer specific products on time with the right quality and cost.
• Collaborates with production support teams to ensure all control methods are valid and followed on the production area within area(s) of responsibility

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering;Demonstrated experience of at least 7 years in a similar position, with strong technical expertise in production processes;
• Prior exposure to the automotive industry, preferably around 4 years, with a deep understanding of the automotive environment;
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships across all levels;
• Fluent proficiency in English.
