Requirements

University degree in Economics (Accounting, Finance and Banks represents a plus), Polytechnic, Mathematics or other related fields;
Qualifications (ACCA, CAFR, ASPAS, CIA, or others, achieved or in progress);
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in audit;
Knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards and basic knowledge of IFRS;
Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies;
Good skills on Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word);
Verbal, written, and presentation skills, both in Romanian and English;
Team working skills, with experience in supervising and developing junior staff;

Responsibilities

Working as part of a team, liaising with both clients and other specialists in the practice to provide high-quality; audits;
Providing coordination role for audit clients including the coaching and training of junior staff;
Supervising teams and reporting directly partners and directors;
Performing/supervising the audit procedures in accordance with Grant Thornton’s audit methodology and quality standards;
Involvement in preparing reports and schedules;
Ability to produce quality work under pressure while meeting deadlines;
Contribute to business development and maintain good professional relations with clients.
