Financial Controller

Objective of the role
The Finance Controller will ensure the delivery of high-quality financial reporting for Ayvens Denmark. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of financial data by ensuring that all related financial controls, including reconciliations and supporting analyses, effectively justify the reported numbers.

Areas of responsibilities

• Ensure the preparation and submission of financial reports in full compliance with the Ayvens Group Accounting & Reporting Manual, maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.
• Design and execute internal controls to safeguard financial integrity, including the development and implementation of action plans to address any identified areas for improvement
• Contribute to the preparation of materials and documentation required for internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial records are readily available and compliant with audit standards
• Engage in L2C Finance missions by providing necessary financial insights and support to optimise financial processes and enhance operational effectiveness
• Manage all Société Générale (SG)-related reporting concerning taxes through the My Tax Platform, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accuracy in tax submissions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally within a financial services environment
• Good understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements related to reporting and taxation.
• Strong analytical capabilities to assess complex financial data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
• Familiarity with financial systems (Miles and SUN) and advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SAP BPC & Power BI is an advantage.
