Role Description:
Data Platforms is an exciting collective of teams spanning product and engineering teams. The Data Platforms PMO Manager role is pivotal in supporting our leadership team make effective, data driven decisions, and building an engaging working environment for Data Platform's 1500+ people.
You will coordinate and lead the PMO services for Data Platform delivery portfolios, managing governance, risk, financials and reporting and drives a consistent and effective approach to project and programme management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with Portfolio/Programme/Project Managers to understand and manage risk within the portfolio and enforces LSEG Group Standards for governance and risk management
- Create and maintains the delivery schedule, milestones and tasks in the relevant scheduling tool(s) and supports the identification and management of dependencies, delivery risks and issues and tracks status
- Prepares and distributes portfolio status reports, keeping management appraised of portfolio progress, major risks and issues and scope and resource changes
- Completes the annual portfolio budget process and holds regular financial reviews to track key financial portfolio metrics
- Maintains and creates visibility around the portfolio health and reporting, tracking and reducing delivery risk at a programme and portfolio level
- Ensures adherence to project management standards and frameworks, governance procedures and standard templates
- Builds and maintains a change roadmap for the portfolio and is responsible for the implementation of change management processes, policies and standard methodology
- Leads the induction and training of all new project managers within the portfolio
Candidate Profile / Key Skills:
- Proven PMO experience in a portfolio, project or programme management environment.
- Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights
- Expertise in building interactive dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Experience automating workflows and integrating data sources.
- Proficiency in pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
- Experience with Clarity tool is a plus
Desirable Certifications:
- PMP(R) or PRINCE2(R)
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI)
