As master data management specialist, the role belongs to the IT & Digitalization team in Timisoara (RO), which is in close collaboration with the central Business Partner Data Strategy & Management team located in Nuremberg (DE). Within an agile collaboration framework, this role focuses on data governance tasks. The team monitors, validates and improves the master data lifecycle of Schaeffler-related customers and vendors. This job role offers a wide variety of fields of activity.

• Clarification of business and legal requirements, which might lead to a change of data model, business rules or lifecycle processes. This includes design of detailed requirements documentation and flowcharts.
• Support of global project initiatives (e.g., business driven projects, IT enhancements).
• Validation of workflows to create / change / block / unblock business partners.
• Preparation and provision of master data to ensure efficient business processing.
• Design and monitoring of data quality and performance KPIs.
• Analysis of master data to identify weak spots. Initiation, coordination, and execution of data cleansing measurements.
• Administration of value-added services to improve the overall user experience in managing business partner master data.
• Design of conceptual slide decks (incl. mockups) to extend the functional portfolio of value-added services for master data maintenance.
• Development of functional specifications for new technical solutions considering SAP systems and 3rd party applications.
• Collaboration with internal DevOps teams to implement IT changes in data systems.
• Specification of test scripts for master data management processes and coordination of tests.

• Study of business informatics or computer science would be an advantage.
• Customer-oriented, pragmatic and tech-savvy mindset with strong attention to details.
• Designated to provide creative and innovative solution approaches.
• Good communication skill (in written and vocal form).
• Expert knowledge in MS Office applications: Excel and Power Point.
• Advanced skills in SQL.
• Basic skills in Power BI or comparable data visualization software.
• Knowledge about SAP systems and related objects (customer master, vendor master or business partner) would be an asset.
• English (fluent verbal and written).
• German (would be an advantage).
