System Test Manager

We are looking for a capable and motivated engineer ready to join our R&D team focused on development of engine control units and other powertrain applications for key automotive OEMs. You will be working in a high performing team committed to develop state of the art products for a new generation of electric vehicles.

As a System Test Manager in project you will have the responsibility to identify, plan and monitor system test activities. You will also allocate tasks to system test engineers, analyze the test results & test coverage and generate test summary reports.

In our department you will manage the test strategy and the test performance of electronic control units for products like: Battery Management Systems and Engine Control Units. Our main customers are BMW, Audi, Daimler and Renault.

• Test Management activities: Plan and monitor test activities, distribute tasks to the other test roles, analyze the test results & coverage and generate test summary reports.
• Test Specification activities: Analyze customer requirements, specify test environment, develop test concepts and test specification.
• Test Development activities: Use Automation Desk, Python and .xml in order to develop tests for the test automation platform based on state of the art dSPACE Scalexio and Midsize simulators.
• Error analysis.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge in the area of system test development for real-time systems.
• Expertise in using test equipment and handling specific test frameworks.
• Read and understand an electrical schematic - basic level.
• Ability to use measurement devices (oscilloscope, voltmeter, etc.).
• Ability to use CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe, INCA, DiagRA tools.
• Work experience with Matlab-Simulink and dSPACE equipment constitutes a plus.
• Programming languages Python or ANSI C - constitutes a plus.
• Willingness to support abroad delegation assignments.
• English language.
