We would love to hear from people with

Technical background: University “Politehnica” Bucharest - Power Engineering Faculty, Engineering Economics or similar;
Relevant experience in power system consultancy projects;
Good knowledge of a software tool dedicated to power systems simulations;
Knowledge of specific electricity market simulation tool such as POWERSIM represents an advantage;
Production cost for electricity generation per type of generations represents an advantage;
Very good knowledge of MS Office package;
English proficiency;
Knowledge of French represents an advantage;
Good communication skills – both written and oral;
Ability to work efficiently in an international environment;
Organizational skills;
Problem solver, flexible.

Your mission

As a Project Engineer-Market Consultancy in our Energy Consultancy team at Tractebel, you contribute to the development of large-scale energy projects, delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions. Our team focuses on designing and optimizing energy infrastructure, ensuring reliability, sustainability, and technical excellence to support the transition to a cleaner and more resilient energy future.

Your key responsibilities

You develop market integration models using dedicated software tools such as POWERSIM.
You perform cost-benefit analyses for feasibility studies in the energy field.
You bring economic expertise to power system projects, both within the Romanian grid and international power networks.
You conduct financial assessments for energy-related projects.
