Long-Term Data Archiving IT Solutions Engineer

This is your chance to ensure a stable and reliable archiving platform for our global Research and Development teams, utilizing the latest technologies like cloud computing, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines.

As part of our dynamic global team, you'll have full technical responsibility for your workstream and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes by engaging in maintenance and development activities that adhere to modern IT standards.

• Coach and Support: Participate in and support business projects related to long-term archiving activities.

• Data Management: Collect and validate relevant data to initiate digital archiving activities, ensuring smooth data extraction and monitoring for archiving.

• Problem Solving: Collaborate closely with business units, addressing challenges and implementing solutions during the archiving process.

• Tool Management: Oversee and maintain tool environments globally, coordinating with vendors to resolve external cases.

• A solid educational background from a technical university.

• Basic familiarity with operating systems and network infrastructure on both Windows and Linux platforms.

• Competence in OS scripting for smooth operations.

• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience in support roles with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

Experience Required: At least 5 years in IT roles.
