Join the Schaeffler Group to spearhead the implementation of a state-of-the-art, centralized digital archiving service. This is your opportunity to support the growth of Schaeffler by managing a reliable and stable archiving platform for our Research and Development departments worldwide.

In this pivotal role, you'll utilize cutting-edge technologies such as cloud computing, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll take charge as a key member of our global team, ensuring continuous improvement and technical excellence within your workstream.

• Service Leadership: Deliver a robust archiving service for our business, maintaining comprehensive documentation for our engineering community.

• Operational Excellence: Operate and support the archiving service, acting as the primary point of contact for infrastructure and related support while adhering to Schaeffler's ITSM rules.

• Collaboration & Innovation: Actively participate in an agile development team to drive feature development and continuously enhance service reliability and stability.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years in IT roles.
• Expertise in operating systems and network infrastructure for both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and ITSM practices (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python/Perl) and basic knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within IT and with customers.
• Basic knowledge of German is appreciated but not required.
• Willingness to work as part of a virtual, global team.
