Responsabilitati
What you will do in this role
The Sales and Account Specialist in the automotive industry is responsible for driving sales of vehicles, parts, or services while managing client accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the automotive products and services offered, and the ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development and Management:
1. Lead Generation and Sales:
o Proactively generating new sales leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
o Present and sell automotive products (vehicles, parts, accessories, or services) to individual customers, businesses, or fleet accounts.
o Conduct product demonstrations, explain features and benefits, and guide customers through the purchase decision-making process.
o Provide clients with detailed quotes and pricing options for vehicle purchases, financing, and lease agreements.
2. Sales Strategy:
o Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet both short-term and long-term revenue targets.
o Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and promotional activities to generate leads and drive sales.
o Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to identify opportunities for growth.
3. Negotiation and Closing:
o Negotiate terms and pricing with customers, including trade-in evaluations, vehicle customization options, financing, and extended warranties.
o Close sales and finalize agreements, ensuring that all customer requirements are met and that they have a positive purchase experience.
Account Management:
1. Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues that arise post-sale.
o Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring they are fully aware of product features, services, and maintenance options.
2. Account Maintenance:
o Regularly follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, offer additional services or upgrades, and identify new sales opportunities.
o Manage the lifecycle of customer accounts, ensuring clients are aware of upcoming offers, new vehicle releases, and service schedules.
o Act as the liaison between customers and service departments, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of any post-sale service or warranty issues.
3. Client Retention and Growth:
o Develop strategies to retain customers through loyalty programs, service reminders, and exclusive offers.
o Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling products and services, such as accessories, maintenance plans, or fleet services.
o Monitor and analyze customer feedback to continually improve account management practices and customer satisfaction.
Market and Product Knowledge:
1. Product Expertise:
o Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products offered, including vehicles, financing options, and service plans.
o Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, automotive technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively sell and position products to customers.
o Attend product training sessions and stay informed about new models, features, and upgrades.
2. Market Insight:
o Analyze customer needs, local market conditions, and competitor activities to create targeted sales strategies.
o Gather and report on market trends, customer demands, and competitor pricing to inform sales and account management strategies.
Sales Reporting and Administration:
1. Sales Reporting:
o Track and report on sales activities, opportunities, and performance against targets.
o Maintain accurate records of sales interactions, quotes, and customer information in the company’s CRM system.
o Provide regular updates to management regarding sales forecasts, opportunities, and pipeline health.
2. Contract and Documentation Management:
o Ensure all sales contracts, paperwork, and payment arrangements are properly completed and filed according to company policy.
o Coordinate with the finance and legal departments to ensure accurate processing of contracts, vehicle registration, and any financial agreements.
3. Inventory and Stock Management:
o Monitor inventory levels and work with the inventory or purchasing department to ensure that popular models and configurations are available to meet customer demand.
o Keep track of the delivery schedule for vehicles, ensuring that customers are kept informed about expected delivery dates and any potential delays.
