    Role Description:

    The LSEG Analytics Product team is increasingly focusing on providing technological and quantitative solutions for equity use-cases. We are hiring for the Predictive Equity Analytics Product Manager role to help lead the business into this future state. The successful candidate of this role will work within the Analytics Product Management team and will also work closely with the Analytics Technology and Sales / Relationship Management teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead initiatives to develop and enhance predictive equity analytics models under the StarMine brand from a product management perspective. Take ownership of new product opportunities, taking projects from initiation through to development and client launch.
    • Work closely with stakeholders across LSEG Data & Analytics to define and implement a strategy for the deployment of analytical solutions to solve for desktop and enterprise data use-cases. Ensure all models provide best-in-class solutions for the relevant asset class. Potential projects could include leading development of a quant risk factor library, enhancements to credit risk models, development of earnings surprise metrics and other predictive analytics.
    • Act as a stakeholder to ensure that multiple LSEG and Starine branded models align to deliver a best-in-class framework of predictive equity analytics.
    • Ensure that all existing pricing models align to current market practices and global standards.
    • Establish and maintain an understanding of the evolving global equity market developments and trends in risk factor modelling, with a focus on implications for the analytics business and its clients.
    • Based on the above understanding, identify commercial opportunities across global equity markets to drive deployments and client campaigns within LSEG's existing suite of analytics products.
    • Alongside sales and relationship management, proactively engage with clients on a one to one basis, and as a presenter within industry events.
    • Write white papers and blogs on product initiatives.

    Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

    • Knowledge of equity markets and risk factor modelling.
    • Direct experience of working with equity analytic or other predictive models. Examples of relevant experience could include: modelling credit risk, M&A target models, earnings surprise impact, economic surprise impact etc.
    • Ability to articulate complex analytical details to internal and external collaborators.
    • Experience of applying technological solutions to solving pricing and analytics requirements and use-cases.
    • Some experience of working with investment analytics platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv WorkSpace, Blackrock Aladdin, FactSet, MSCI etc) is helpful.
    • Positive attitude, and eagerness to continually upskill.
    • Consistently deliver timely and high quality of work.
    • Work well individually, but also as part of a team.
    • Ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously, whilst preserving quality of delivery and attention to detail.
    • Take an organised, well-researched and thoughtful approach to work.
    • Around 5+ years working in a professional capacity, working directly with equity analytics in a product management, trading, or quantitative role.
    • Masters' degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related degrees is preferred.
