Senior Financial Controller

Requirements

o Bachelor Degree in Finance and background as Financial Controller/Analyst or Auditor

o Organizational, logical and strong analytical skills

o Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

o Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

o Flexible and positive approach when dealing with changes

o Good prioritization and analyzing skills

o Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables

o Innovative thinking

o Demonstrate a positive attitude, personal drive to achieve and exceed targets

o Proficiency in MS Office (Excel: VLOOKUP and pivot tables), preferred experience with accounting/reporting systems.

Responsibilities / Accomplishments

o Perform monthly consolidation, analysis and interpretation of monthly financial results

o Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

o Follow-up on execution of budgets

o Review Expenses and Revenue allocation to the corresponding cost centers

o Involved in the preparation of monthly management accounts including Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

o Review the correctness and accuracy of data posted in the ERP system

o Monthly analysis of the Actual figures vs. Budget and deliver proper explanations for the variances incurred

o Preparing various reports and analysis for the management of the company

o Identify opportunities for improvement of processes to reduce costs

o Involved in the annual budget process

o Ad hoc project work and financial analysis as required

o Additional controller duties as necessary
