We are looking for a proficient System Engineer with expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), Engine Controls, and Zone/Master Controllers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining these critical systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and innovation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Develop advanced control systems for Battery Management Systems, focusing on safety, efficiency, and performance.
- Design engine control systems, optimizing for power, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
- Develop and integrate zone/master controllers for comprehensive system management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and define specifications.
Implementation and Maintenance:
- Lead the installation and configuration of systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and diagnostic assessments to guarantee system integrity.
- Implement software updates and hardware upgrades to enhance system capabilities.
Testing and Validation:
- Create robust testing protocols to ensure systems meet functional and compliance standards.
- Analyze test data and refine system designs as necessary to optimize performance.
- Document all testing procedures and outcomes for ongoing improvement and research purposes.
Technical Support:
- Provide expert technical support and training to operational teams and clients.
- Act as the go-to advisor on complex technical issues related to battery management, engines, and control systems.
- Develop comprehensive user manuals and training resources.
Research and Development:
- Stay abreast of developments in technology and industry best practices.
- Conduct research to explore novel solutions and optimization strategies for existing systems.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system engineering focusing on BMS, engine controls, or zone/master controllers.
- Deep understanding of battery technologies, engine dynamics, and control systems integration.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python.
- Experience with Polarion requirements tool for managing and tracking system specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of industry standards and compliance regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or professional certifications in relevant fields.
- Experience with advanced battery technologies and energy storage solutions.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and emerging technologies in electric vehicles.
