Production Materials Buyer Associate INTERNSHIP

What will you do?

• Provide support in the area of procurement and production material planning.
• Specific Duties:
  • Assist in maintaining purchasing and planning conditions in SAP for production materials (e.g., MRP, source list, PIR).
  • Support in analyzing purchase requisitions (PRs) and converting them into purchase orders (POs).
  • Help monitor open and unconfirmed orders to ensure data accuracy in SAP.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to send forecasts and follow up on deliveries.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining procurement documentation.
  • Work closely with internal departments (Planning, Production, Finance) and external partners (suppliers, transporters).
  • Support complaint resolution regarding production materials and ensure proper documentation.
  • Contribute to SAP and procurementrelated reporting tasks.

Who are we looking for?

• Final-year student or fresh graduate (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related field);
• Basic knowledge of procurement, supply chain, or planning processes is an advantage;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills;
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data;
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Motivation to learn and grow as a professional in procurement and materials planning;
• Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• English language proficiency (SAP knowledge is a plus).

Commitment:
 

• Full time flexible program: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Salary (gross): 5500 lei/month
• Period: June 1 – September 30, 2025
• Location: JTI Romania Manufacturing: Bucharest, Dimitrie Pompei 9-9A..
